Privacy Policy

• Contact details — your email address or mobile number, and whether it has been verified.
• Account details — your username, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form).
• Profile details — country, city, time zone, preferred prayer language, and an optional spiritual tradition.
• Prayer content — the title and text of prayers you submit, their category, privacy level, and preferred timing.
• Prayer activity — which prayers you accept, complete, and any outcome you choose to record.
• Token, payment and donation records — your Token balance and an append-only ledger of every movement.
• Device and browser data — IP address, browser and device information.
• Security logs — verification attempts, sign-in activity, rate-limiting and CAPTCHA outcomes, and moderation actions.

• Creating your account and verifying your email or mobile number
• Matching prayers between Seekers and Reciters, and confirming a synchronized prayer time in each person’s local zone
• Safety, moderation, and preventing abuse, fraud, spam, and automated signups
• Maintaining the Token ledger accurately
• Processing payments and donations, once those features are enabled

Prayers are written by you. Because a prayer may reveal deeply personal circumstances — health, family, bereavement, finances — and because your spiritual tradition may be treated as sensitive personal data in some countries, we ask you to share only what you are comfortable sharing with the circle.

Recording a spiritual tradition is optional. You may choose how a prayer appears — public, anonymous, or within a private circle — and your identity is not shown to others unless you choose it.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run PRAEORA, and only as far as needed — for example our hosting and database provider, and (once enabled) SMS and email delivery providers and payment gateways.

Payments and donations will be handled by third-party payment gateway providers. Card and banking details are processed by those providers under their own terms; PRAEORA does not store full payment credentials.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety of a person or the public.

You may ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Delete your account and associated personal data

Some records — such as the append-only Token ledger and safety logs — may be retained where we are legally required to keep them, in which case they are dissociated from your profile wherever possible.
